▼その音の聞こえ方は人によって違う。ガサリかゴトンか、それともズサリだろうか。福島県いわき市の佐々木美保さん（40）は、こう書いている。「『カタン……』それは毎朝、わが家のポストに新聞が届いた日常の音」。そして、「その音が三月十一日の朝で終わってしまいました」。
  关于报纸投递的声音人们会用不同的象声词来形容，“喀啥”或者“咯噔”，或者是“滋萨”一声。家住福岛县岩城市的读者佐佐木美保女士（40岁）则这样形容：“卡当……”一声，这是每天清晨报纸送到我家邮箱时发出的响声。可是，3月11日的早晨，再也没有听到这声音。

    Some people use the onomatopoeia "gasari" to describe the sound of a newspaper being delivered to their doorstep, while others may say it sounds more like "goton" or "zusari." Miho Sasaki, 40, of Iwaki, Fukushima Prefecture writes: "'Katan.' That was the everyday sound I used to hear when the newspaper was delivered to our mailbox ... That sound ended on the morning of March 11."
▼しばらくすると避難所に新聞が届くようになったそうだ。誰からともなく配達を買って出て、段ボール敷きの一軒一軒に届け合った。「今日も朝が来た」と実感できたと、佐々木さんは感謝をつづる。
   据佐佐木的来信所述，在避难所生活了一段时间后，报纸又恢复了每日的投递。避难者中的志愿者们，为生活在纸箱地板上的居民们一家一家地送报纸。她在信中充满谢意地写道：“切身感受到新的一天清晨又来到了。”
　 According to Sasaki, newspapers started to be delivered to evacuation centers after a while. Spontaneously, evacuees volunteered to deliver them to individual families living on pieces of cardboard spread on the floor. Sasaki writes she felt grateful, thinking, "Morning came again today."
▼あすの「新聞配達の日」にちなんで、日本新聞協会が募ったエッセーに、今年は震災をめぐる話が目立った。配達員へのねぎらいや、新聞が届く日常のいとおしさに思いを寄せてくださる読者が多かった。日本の新聞の95％は宅配され、全国の39万人がそれを担っている。
   明天10月16日是“报纸投递日”，日本报纸协会散文征集活动中，有关今年震灾的文章特别引人注目。很多读者都来信表达对送报人员，以及报纸每天都能送达的那份的感激之情。日本的报纸95%投递到户，全国范围内约有39万人承担着投递任务。
　 To mark "newspaper delivery day" on Oct. 16, the Japan Newspaper Publishers and Editors Association invited readers to send essays on the topic. Essays related to the Great East Japan Earthquake stood out this year. Many readers expressed their appreciation for the people who bring their newspapers and how grateful they are for what they bring, which is a part of everyday life. In Japan, 95 percent of newspapers are delivered to the homes of subscribers by some 390,000 delivery people.
▼弊紙の関係では悲しいこともあった。岩手県陸前高田市の販売所の高2の娘さんが津波で亡くなった。家業を手伝い毎朝配達をしていた。あの日も5時に起き、戻ると冷えた体をこたつで温めて登校したそうだ。
   有一则与本报相关的令人难过的故事。严手县陆前高田市的朝日新闻投递中心，有一名高二女生不幸因海啸遇难。为帮助家庭生计她每天清晨起来送报纸。3月11日那天，她也一样早晨5点就起床去送报纸，送完回家窝在暖桌下缓一缓冻僵的身体，然后再去上学。
　 There is a sad story related to the delivery of The Asahi Shimbun. A second-year female senior high school student who worked at an Asahi Shimbun delivery center in Rikuzen-Takata, Iwate Prefecture, was killed by the tsunami. She delivered the morning paper every day, helping her family's business. That day, too, she woke up at 5, returned home after the morning round and warmed her cold body in a kotatsu before going to school.
▼雨風を衝（つ）き、寒さに頬を赤くして、日々届けてくれる新聞に「天声人語」も載っていた。あの朝の小欄は、奇（く）しくもニュージーランド地震で落命した日本の若者の話を書いている。
   她顶风冒雨，双颊冻得通红地每天为人们送报纸，报上就刊登着《天声人语》这个专栏。那天的专栏，正巧说的是新西兰地震中不幸遇难的多名日本年轻人。
　 This column also appeared in the newspaper she delivered every day, come rain or shine. Her cheeks must have turned rosy from the cold during winter. By coincidence, the column that ran in the paper that morning was about the young Japanese victims who died in the earthquake that hit Christchurch, New Zealand, in February.
▼〈「志半ば」の紋切り型では無念を言い尽くせぬ、悲しみの春である〉と結んだ言葉が今更ながらやりきれない。娘さんは遠藤愛実（あみ）さん。生前を知らぬ夭折（ようせつ）の名が、ひとしお胸に染みてくる
     那一天的专栏这样结尾道：“我们都知道‘壮志未酬’这句俗语，也知道人们通常很难实现自己的理想，不过这丝毫不能减少震灾带给我们的悲痛。”即使半年多过去了，那悲伤依然还在。这位不幸的送报姑娘名叫远藤爱实，她的早逝触痛着我的心。
　 The column ended with the following sentence: "We all know how common it is for people to have to abandon their goals or ideals, but such conventional wisdom cannot comfort us in this sorrowful springtime." Even now, when I look back, the sorrow is too much to bear. The papergirl's name was Ami Endo. I did not know her, but the name of the girl who died prematurely touches my heart.
