▼天気図の曲線が美しくなると冬は近い。街に野に走りの木枯らしが吹き、指の先のかすかな冷えに、ふと「幸せ」の意味を問うてみたりする11月の言葉から。
天气图的曲线逐渐变得优美起来,就说明冬季逐渐临近了。秋末冬初的冷风吹过街边野外，手指头开始觉得有点冰凉，让我们从11月寄语中选取几则，来思考一下什么是幸福。
VOX POPULI: Thoughts on happiness as winter approaches
When curves on weather charts start to form beautiful lines, winter is near. Let me quote some memorable words from November, a month in which early winter winds blow across streets and fields and we find ourselves asking about the meaning of happiness as we feel the cold on our fingertips.
▼長崎県諫早市の72歳の高校生久保ツネ子さんが大学に合格し、社会福祉学科に進む。若いとき貧しくて高校に行けなかった。その作文に、「新しいことはなかなか憶（おぼ）えられません……でもいいのです。先生方が教えてくださることを、一生懸命自分の頭でかみしめながら聞いている、それだけでうれしいのですから」。
长崎县谏早市一位72岁的高中生久保常子考取了大学，进入社会福利专业进行学习。她小时候因为家境贫寒，没能去读高中。她在作文中写道：“对于新的知识，我总是很难记住……不过这样也不错，我一边认真听讲，一边努力去理解各位老师上课传授的知识，只是这样我已经非常高兴了。”
Seventy-two-year-old high school student Tsuneko Kubo of Isahaya, Nagasaki Prefecture, passed a university entrance examination and will go on to college to study social welfare. As a young girl she couldn’t go to high school because her family was poor. Kubo wrote: "It's hard for me to memorize new things. But it doesn't matter. I am happy just to listen to what teachers tell us and think hard."
▼津波で大黒柱を亡くした福島県相馬市の一家5人が、家族写真に納まった。「夫がいなくなって寂しい。でも出来上がった写真を見ながら『こういう時があったよね』と言えるようになりたい」と阿部美香さん（41）。娘2人と祖父母との新たな歩みだ。

A family of five from Soma, Fukushima Prefecture, whose father was lost in the March 11 quake, had a family photo taken. "I miss my husband," said Mika Abe, 41. "But one day, I want to be able to look at the picture and say 'That's how we were back then.'" She is making a fresh start with her two daughters and their grandparents.

Since the Great East Japan Earthquake, comedian Kinichi Hagimoto, whose fans call him Kin-chan, has been supporting a person from Kesennuma, Miyagi Prefecture, with whom he used to perform. "I want to make one person I know well happy and hope that person will pass on that happiness to the next person."
▼都道府県の「幸福度」で福井が１位とされた。名刹（めいさつ）永平寺の西田正法布教部長は「福井のように雪深いなど自然の厳しいところでは、『何も起きなかったらありがたい』と考える。それが幸せにつながるのでは」。
日本各都县府道的“幸福度”评比中，福井县名列第一。名刹永平寺的布教部长西田正法认为：“因为福井县冬季寒冷多雪，自然条件比较严苛，人们从心底感激一年能平安无事地度过，因此也更能感受到幸福。”
In a ranking of prefectures according to their happiness, Fukui came in first. Shobo Nishida, who heads the missionary department of the famous Eihei-ji temple, said: "In places like Fukui, which has heavy snow and where nature is harsh, people are grateful when nothing happens. I think such thinking leads to happiness."
▼初めての恋愛小説を書いた作家の川上未映子さんが言う。「幸せの形は決まったものではない。昔を振り返った時にあったなと眺められるような、今この瞬間はあるなと思えるような、点のようなきらめきでもいいのでは」。冬の星座を仰ぐ。
作家川上未映子在她第一本恋爱小说中写道：“幸福是无形的。幸福是当一个人回首过去时会想到的，这样那样的一瞬间，闪闪发光的一点一滴，不是吗？”让我们一起仰望冬季的星空。
Writer Mieko Kawakami, who has written her first love story, said: "There is no set form of happiness. It may be a shiny dot that, when we look back, we can remember as a good time or we may think here and now is the moment." Let us look up and gaze at winter constellations.
