Commercial Products Division: Develops and manufactures multi-market products for a diverse range of applications. Integrated Products Division: Produces higher-level assemblies utilizing Molex interconnect technologies, typically in printed circuit board, fiber optic, flex circuit and other applications. Its business units span a wide variety of applications. The Automation and Electronic Products Group specializes in harsh-environment technology for factory automation, power, temporary lighting and ergonomic products in industrial, construction and other applications. The Premise Network Group focuses on structured cabling for office buildings, universities and government campuses.
Global Sales and Marketing Division: A highly collaborative team of regional sales and industry marketing professionals who work to provide a higher level of service to Molex customers. A significant number of customers use products from more than one of our divisions. Many also work on a global scale, designing in one location and manufacturing in another, so customer service requires a high degree of internal coordination. Our sales team is supported by a global IT infrastructure that helps them exchange and track customer information.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Work closely with sales, CSR(customer service representative), customers to ensure the timely collection of AR. Support on the customer risk analysis by carrying through the credit control policy and procedures. Ensure proper risk assurances are taken in order to avoid losses on trade A/R.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Carry through the collection management module and dispute management module to control and follow the collection action.
o Make sure the reconciliation of AR with customer AP through monthly AR statement process, and confirm customer payment schedule.
o Be in charge to get/provide the proper payment list for cash application.
o Timely follow up with customers for AR collection and closely work with Sales, CSR and other functional departments to enhance SOP and credit control.
o Risk analysis on the customers. Ensure reasonable credit limit and credit term is set for each customer by periodically review.
o Follow up the dispute cases with responsible department and person. Ensure it can be solved timely.
o Work closely with MBSE to make sure the account receivable update on timely basis, accurate and completely.
o To take daily action on block orders and DDLs. Report to supervisor for any serious cases.
o To take action, after discussing the issue with the credit & collections manager or FC, on overdue items where problems can be expected with the customer. These actions include involving collection agencies or taking legal action.
o To set up new customers and do proper risk assessments, by requesting and reviewing Dun and Bradstreet reports, in line with the credit management policy.
o To review customer payment performance and take appropriate action. These actions include a reduction of payment terms or a change to secure payment method.
o To keep record of all correspondence with customers on overdue items in separate files to ensure that evidence of actions taken is always available and that this information can be used for possible legal actions.
o To backup for cash application job.
o To carry out other duties requested by Management which are considered to be within the competence of the Post Holder.
SCOPE: This function is covering the whole APS region. The release of customer block will rely on the sound judgment of this role. |
