Xu Zhimo was a famous poet, a miracle person, who dedicated his life to the development of literature. His story was widespreading in China, especially his love stories with three women-Zhang Youyi, Lin Huiyin and Lu Xiaoman.
Zhimo's poems were like songs with rhythm and easy to understand. Some of his well-known poems such as <<By chance>>, <<Farewell Cambridge>> were loved by millions of people.

He never stopped pursuing truth, beauty and freedom until he died. His death was a great lose for Chinese literature. If he did not die so early, he might have done much more for Chinese literature as well as the world literature.

However great he was, only a few people outside China that knows him. People who could not understand Chinese are not likely to know him. This is the reason we do this website. We want to introduce him to the world through this English website. We hope that people from other countries will be able to appreciate his poems and gain something from them. Also, we hope that they will have a better understanding of Chinese literature and wish to know more about it.

There is not much that we can cover in a single website, but we will try our best to get whatever materials that we can get and make the website more attractive.
