1)   If you succeeded, everything would be all right.
       虚拟语气中表示对将来的假象不是应该是:
       条件从句:一般过去时;  主句should+动词原形的吗?
       请问这里为什么用would 而不是should
2) If I ___where he lived, I ____a note to him.
A) knew, would
B) had known, would have sent

答案:B
如果我在A选项改为: knew, would send这样这句话的虚拟用法是否正确,可以这样用吗?

1. 不是非得是should do的。
表示与现在事实相反的情况，可以用：
if+主语+过去时+其他+主语+should/would/could/might+do+其他

2. 此句表示与过去事实相反的情况（where he lived)
所以应该使用
if+主语+had done +其他+主语+should/would/could/might+have done+其他
